Every once in a while I play a bit on everestpoker dot com.
I'm new to the game and, although I very much prefer a poker night with some friends, it's a reasonably good and easy way to figure things out.

I play for fake dough at Pokerstars.com quite a bit. Have played for small amounts of real money but just don't like losing so I quit that.

A word for those who don't. If you are even a slightly addictive type person. Don't start. It is addicting.

At 3pm in the morning--it is the program that I wake up to the most--Poker After Dark.

Since I can't see the TV from the bed (blind as a cave pupfish), I have no idea how the game is played or why someone wins...

I think this is the show that was on the other morning! Gabe Kaplan (sp) from "Welcome Back Kotter" was on.
