Sometimes ya just gotta say "&%#@ it!!", and build a snowman!

When David pulled into my driveway today around 12:30 PM, it was a beautiful day. Sunny... around 40F degrees.... we only had a broken clothes washer to worry about.... (mine!).

David commented on the snow that I'd been shoveling at the end of my driveway.... "This is GREAT snowman snow....."

The rest is history..... Who cares that neither of us had boots on. It was the perfect opportunity to build a snowman, and sometimes, peeps, ya just gotta say EFF it to the day-to-day tasks at hand and do what ya gotta do!!

Snowman materials here...

Add in $16 worth of Classic Nerak beads....

This might look like twigs to you, but to ME, it was snowman hair!!

I'd post the pic I took of the west side of the house, but it shows David kneeling down in front on the snowman working on the snowman's feet, and it looks (to the dirty-minded folk who frequent this forum) that David might be doing something rather RUDE, so he's requested that I not post that photo.

And just think.... to the next lucky person who orders a Nerak Bead Classic necklace....

YOU could be the proud recipient of one of the necklace hanging on the first snowman built at my new house!!!!!

(I removed the necklaces, dried them off, and returned them to their proper packages.)

I've gotta give credit where credit is due, and it all goes to DAVID on this one!! One of the things I LOVE about my man is that he's managed to hold onto a big part of the his "kid" quotient - and it's THAT part of him that makes life so much fun sometimes!! Today's snowman was HIS idea, and I couldn't believe it when I was digging around in snow-covered snowbanks looking for rocks and sticks in my backyard today! But if you knew David, you'd be there right beside me doing it too!!!!

I so totally appreciate the fact that he makes me slow down sometimes and have FUN with the silly stuff in life. In the end, isn't that what it's all about???? Stuff that makes us smile???!!!

Ah, your snowgirl is adorable It's been years since we built one.

Mar and I took a 4 mile walk this afternoon. It was 43 degrees; simply beautiful outside today!

What does it cost to have that white stuff delivered y'all are playing in? Is that more than one truck load?

During one of our three snow "storms" here this year, some areas got a couple inches of snow here in Atlanta. Some people built snow men, but they did not have quite the mass and grandeur as yours!

It looks great!
