Nina Tukan Hotel

So the airline i booked through (for our May trip) also books hotels and some look very reasonable. Does anyone know anything about Nina Tukan Hotel? It says it is right near the beach, has a pool and is within walking distance of all the 5th street fun. $47.80 per night. According to one site it was remodeled in 2007.

Anyone with any experience there? not too much in prior threads as I did a search already.

Hotel Nina is owned by the El Tukan Condotel (which is on 5th Avenue).

Nina is a small older hotel on Calle 6 between 10th Avenue and 15th Avenue.

Not near the beach.

I haven't heard anything good about it and would not recommend it.
