Anyone every heard of Travelonly?
I've been hearing alot on the radio lately about this company called Travel only. I've checked it out, seems legite, but looks to be a pyramid type thing. Anyone ever heard about it? Hubby wants me to check into it, but just can't seem to find out alot about it online. Might have to bite the bullet and go to the seminar, but I really hate high pressure meetings like what I think this might be.

Never heard of it, and we live fairly close....can you give more info or a link to a site?

![]() How can it possible be any different than using any other travel agency or online sell-off site? Or are you thinking of doing it for a living? ![]() |

I thought it sounded interesting, but not really into pyramid stuff. I'm looking to do something, but just not sure what. Just quit my old business that I have had for 7 years cause I am sick to death of cooking and need to find something to fill my time. I am very interested in travel so thought it might be worth a look. I just thought maybe someone else on this site had heard of it or better yet been to one of their seminars, maybe save me alot of time if it is a scam.
My family all thinks I should look into the travel industry in some form because I love to spend time surfing the net researching our own vacations. Besides, just found out that high speed for us out in the boonies dropped $200 and had my house tested and we can reach the tower from here!!! So researching things will be a heck of alot easier for me. Oh well, will keep looking, something will come up that fits for me! |

Just talked to my mom, she was laughing because she got a voucher in the mail for a cruise and Fort Lauderdale vacation! I told her is likely the same one that I got a phone call about that they won't you and your spouse to listen to their speal then give them your visa number to pay the taxes! I wonder how many people actually go for that? Must be some considering the huge phone bills they must have, they call our house at least 5 times a week! |

oh, of course
....how embarassing .....![]() farmgirl- I hear ya. I would love to work as a TA, too, I love travelling, planning vacations, helping people, doing research, etc. My friends and family also always tell me I should be a TA, but it simply doesn't pay enough as an entry level position to warrant a change at this point. ![]() and yes I get those stupid calls about the 'free cruise' too. ![]() |

By 'entry level' I meant just getting on as a new agent at an agency (plus I would have to take some training I am sure, which would mean loss of income then too). And I have to admit our weekends off are gold to us.I wasn't thinking of being my own boss. But I suspect in general TAs are better paid in the US than they are here, Shams. Unfortunately! But the perks would be nice. ![]() ![]() |
