Tulum Info????
Hi, i am new to this. Can anyone help with info on Tulum? I want to go down there with my 2 children and would prefer to stay somewhere with a pool. I have tried Las Ranitas and Ana y Jose both of which are full at the end of March. Do any of the others have pools, cos I don't seem to be able to find one that does. Would be grateful for any info. Thanks

Tulum isn't like Playa at all, the accomodations on the beach are popular with "ecotourists", which means they're very rustic. I wouldn't even use the word "hotel" to describe most of them, most people call them cabaņas. I don't know of any that are on the beach that have a pool, I've heard of one in the town that does; you might try asking over at tulum.info forum - Powered by vBulletin.

Mezzanine - a great restaurant also has a handful of rooms and there is a small narrow pool only for room guests. Just south of El Paraiso beach - v nice but not cheap.
They have a website....mezzanine.com Last edited by Big Fish : 02-28-2008 at 09:21 AM. Reason: add contact info |
