Hey Y'all

Just wanted to say "Hey" & what a great forum about a great place.
I've fallen in love in Playa the couple of times I've been down (pre-hurricanes) & am looking for some first rate, first hand info & things to do that aren't delivered by tour companies where I stay.
Thanks!!!

we like it here, too.
click on the 'trip planning' tab above
there are great tours offered by Yucatreks that cater to small groups.
...and there's more stuff - we'll get back to you

Thanks for the welcome for somebody who's trying to convince the wife that PdC or just Costa Maya is the place to expat when work is done... but in the meantime, vacation spot #1 for the family.
Where would be a good spot to post for info for a couple of the places listed in the directory? I popped an email off last week the general mailbox (I think) for the site, but haven't heard from them. I've got some questions on things to do & need to get prices so I can save accordingly.

I presume you're asking about hotels? It sounds like you've already accessed the Trip Planning tab at the top of the page? At the end of the listing for each hotel, there's a box in which you can check off the properties in which you are interested, and someone from PlayaInfo will get back to you with information.

Nah thanks though. I'm already booked at one at the Riu Tequila.
I sent an email asking about checking for info/pricing on the micro-light ride, parachuting. I'm guessing I can get parasailing info on the beach, correct?
Most of my trips there haven't done stuff like that because my idea of relaxing is beach front, drink, shade & sleep.
