Airliners flying low over Playa

Is this something that is more recent? I do not remember seeing such aircraft flying so low over Playa last year but this year it's incredible and sometimes it sounds like someone is going to land on the street! And I am talking about the big airliners who are landing in Cozumel. I am assuming they are touring over the Riviera and beaches but isn't it a bit low???

Anyone?
