Michele -
Last week my wife & I went to bed on Wed. evening, as we laid there preparing for our MUCH needed rest I asked her; "Are we old enough to have an 18 year old son?" To which she replied; "YOU are!" And soon (too soon) No. 2 son turns 17. You know what - way back when having 2 children close together SEEMED like such a good idea... So, on behalf of those other "not old enough" parents, you have our sympathy, condolences, and most of all our admiration for being able to look at them and think; "I brought you into this world and I can still..." HA!! Wait until he turns 30! When my oldest turned 30, I told him it just wasn't possible because I simply wasn't old enough to have a son 30 years old. So on my next birthday he baked me a cake that said happy 29th (plus 25 more).
This coming June he'll be 37, and his oldest son will soon be 12. Where DOES the time go?![]() ![]()
