why is the new web cam so dark????

hi, my name is patrick, subservant to my missus Linda........ we love the maya riveria and just came back from it 3 weeks ago.....found this great site and have been reading all the posts ( you guys are great )...anyway i find that the web cam pictures are really dark, even though it shows 0803 hrs.anything i can do to lighten it up on my end? any and all info/instruction appreciated........gooblywook

Oh and "yea for me" immmmmmmmmmmmm a sandflea (smiles in self content)

Hmm, the view does look a touch darker than you'd expect.

Maybe the camera's wearing sunglasses.

Just caught this. I'm not sure it's dark, although it certainly is tough lighting.
