How about 20%? not big enough, eh?

And didn't I actually offer you a free place to stay? I think you are now voting Democrat this year my friend.

Guess I'll become a thursday to sunday person as well... If I fly in and out of Charlotte, is there anyone who's kind enough to give me a ride? We can share expenses of a rental car if you have one (and gas as well).

Jacko, I'll probably call this weekend, will try to re-confirm the dates with my boss tomorrow but he's on vacation.

Do you mean Charlotte? Charleston is about a 4 hour drive.....

I'll be glad to give a ride back to Charlotte Sunday. I'm only live 20 min from the airrport. We're not going up til Friday or I'd help you there as well.

You might check your flights with Bonny and Mike..you might be able to hook up transportation with them.....let me know...worse case scenario, I can come pick you up if you don't want to drive....its about a 1.5 hour drive..maybe a little more...

Also, the Lodge is fully booked on Wednesday and Thursday night.....of course, it is fully open on Friday and Saturday night because I am holding it for Peep reservations for a short while longer....(and EVERYTHING is open from Sunday night forward) ..........we might not be able to pull off this exclusive use for the 20 room Lodge given the current amount of interest........

So........ those of you with extended stays may wish to book into the Woodward House or any other facility for the entire stay to avoid changing rooms.

The 20% Peep Meet discount applies to all of our rooms for interested Peeps.

I know that I'll have to stay somewhere else the first night but I am used to change hotels all the time while travelling so often I don't even unpack.

It's not that I don't want to drive but since I never had a car I haven't been behind a wheel for at least 15 years. I know I should get back into the habit and at least take some driving lessons but I sort of never have the time.

Thank you so much Pitt Alum. Don't think I will fly out sunday but stay in Charlotte till monday. And I will probably fly in earlier as well. Not sure about that one yet though. Might depend on the flight prices when I book them.

So if we're coming Thursday and Friday we'd be better off booking at the Woodward House?

Sheesh..I knew this would get to be a problem......too many guests.....

For Thursday and Friday night right now, we have Large Cabin room 105...very nice, but a little more rustic than the Woodward House....and the Waterlily cottage..small 2 bedroom cottage (actually, there are a number of 2 bedroom cottages available)........other than that, at this point, you are looking at switching rooms for a Thurs/Fri stay..one night in the Woodward House and one night in the Lodge.........there is still the "stay at Jack's house upstairs bedroom" option for the first person wanting to try that....

Book 'em up Peeps...this is a popular place around here.

Okay.
I think we're booked in the Woodward House on Wed and Thurs. But I have a feeling the party will be at the lodge on Fri and Sat evening, so we are booked in the lodge on Fri and Sat evening. I don't want to stagger around the grounds looking for the Woodward House, last year I had a guide (SCTX), to get us from the house to the Woodward House.

Someone will schlep bags from one place to another.
