Cool.
I'm too cheap to book those rooms.

Haven't booked the flights yet, but as of right now, we'd figure on flying into Charlotte on Tuesday, the 16th. Apparently, the Inn is completely sold out, so I guess we'll stay in the city that night. I turn officially "old" that day, so we'll likely go to this marvelous restaurant we found in Charlotte last year - Manzetti's - for a celebration dinner. We'll be driving out to the Inn on the Wednesday, so if anyone needs a lift, get a hold of us. We plan on staying at Highland Lakes through until Tuesday the 22nd, and the only accommodations available for that entire period is a cabin, so I guess we'll be playing Abraham Lincoln for a week. (Woodward all booked - damn!)

So...whaddaya say? Can we come? How about if we promise to bring presents?

I can't wait to see you and Jackie!!!!

Thanks for the kind words, all. We're really looking forward to seeing everybody. Lots of hugs to pass out, but you might have to bend over just a bit.

Jacko, I'm guessin' the pool will be closed by then?

Anybody know of a liquor store in Charlotte that carries a good selection of top shelf tequila? Seems I made sort of a promise in a moment of weakness. The guvmint store in Hendersonville had several decent crocks, but I'd like to get my hands on a jug of primo stuff.

Bob! Susan and I are so happy that you and Jackie are coming!

If you strike out in Charlotte with the state-owned stores, we will be glad to mule you something up from Atlanta (no state owned stores here!).

I think everyone should have faith that there will be no shortage of primo tequila...... in fact, I can already picture Linda standing behind us with a big stick saying "You drink ALL of it before you leave !!!"
