What great photos This thread brought tears to my eyes- I won't watch the video because I try not to watch violent videos, in general. It just makes me angry, stressed, frustrated, and a whole slew of other negative emotions. I am fully aware of how terrible some people in our world can be but I prefer to focus on the people who make a positive impact on our world. Like this guy and his cute little pup Thanks, Horizon. Why, you no more represent my country, than that punk throwing a puppy off a cliff does. Most of the people in my country do not support torture or the efforts to stifle dissent your kind seem to always feel should be the first option.

To the point that if I happen to turn on the tv when the news has already started, I sometimes wonder if it's real footage or the movies. I think in the past there was a little bit of the jealous/hatred going on for Canadians toward Americans...kind of the way everyone likes to bring the head cheerleader or captain of the football team down a peg.

But that you're not really the worlds major superpower anymore, or not the only one at least...and you have some issues (*ahem* recession)....and your dollar is no longer worth two of ours ....and we got so much oil ....you're more human, and therefore more likeable.

Yes it is true...I am Canadian & I love America. I spend my summers in the USA & have met some of the nicest people there! Plus the booze is cheaper.
