We get in on the 22nd, how can we participate (not necessarily in the event) but to follow the action along and of course make a donation. By the time we get in and settled it may be 9:00ish though...sound like you all will have fun and for a good cause!

So if my wife ann I want to do this it's 600 peso and we can do it... just run around to the listed bars down a shot or beer and then move on. It sounds like fun... When do we need to decide?

You can visit any of the bars on the route; the beginning and ending bar will be at La Ranita bar, at the Hotel La Rana Cansada on Calle 10 between Avenidas 5 and 10. You can donate, I'm sure, at any of the bars. If you'd like to sponsor my team directly, you can find the instructions for how to do so here. I can't promise that we can win, but I can darned sure promise we'll have fun trying, and will do honor to your donations!

You can join in as late as that night, come earlier than the start time to sign up. You do have to have the minimum 600 pesos, but please remember that 400 pesos of that will go toward paying for your drinks and only 200 will get donated to the Bomberos, so any amount over and above that will be greatly appreciated by the Bomberos and their supporters!

There are two stands in town. During the day, Gar sets up on the ferry dock with a cart full of t-shirts and hats. At night, you can often find Mayte manning a table on 5th avenue between Calles 6 and 8, in front of the Burger King.

We are now up to 120 usd!!

Sara and I are sending 2 photos of us from our Private Collection to each of our sponsors. I'm not sure if that's going to be an incentive or a deterrent for future donations.
