Paraiso Lindo
hi iberostar fans,
for the new Iberostar Paraiso Lindo I started a new website, which is "under construction" due to the opening of the new 5* resort. If you would like to hear the complete Iberostar song "Da'le Palla" you'll find it there ;-) Some impressions of the famous IBEROSTAR QUETZAL resort you can find at http://www.iberostar.net ralfinho ![]() |

Ib* Paraiso Lindo Reservations
When will the resort start taking reservations? How much per week for standard rooms? Will there be discount on reservations for the "grand opening"?
Waiting anxiously to hear from you! |

Thanks for "Da'le Palla"!!
I haven't heard it since our Iberostar vacation in 2000. Wow, it really brought back awesome memories. Only wish I could have it to play on my cd player. Know where I can get my hands on a copy?
Hope to be back to the Iberostar soon... maybe the new Lindo?!? Thanks again! ![]() |

Hello there, another Iberostar fan here. I'm just wondering if you would recommend me booking the Lindo for November. What does the new Lindo offer that the Del Mar does not have? Also, what does the Del Mar have that the Lindo does not. The Lindo looks like it's right next to the Del Mar so would that mean the Lindo is sharing the same pool and property? Anxiously awaiting your answer so I can book one or the other ASAP!

The new Paraiso Lindo will be more luxurious than the other resorts. It's a really 5 star resort, so the pricing will be.
Guests from the Lindo can use all facilities from all other Iberostars in Mexico, but the others will not be "allowed" to use the Lindo. Here are some features: Facilities: Luxurious, elegant, newly-built hotel combining spectacular design with the beauty of the Caribbean surroundings. 446 rooms in bungalow-style 3-storey buildings. Guests can enjoy 11 restaurants, 9 bars, medical service, hairdresser’s, shops and supermarket, and a convention centre (from winter 2004), amongst other facilities. Magnificent gardens, 5 superb, imaginatively-designed swimming pools, jacuzzi, massage centre, sports courts and large sun terraces (sun loungers, parasols and towels free of charge). Internet corner (extra charge). Rooms: All the rooms are spacious and designed with a particular view to detail. They all have terrace / balcony, minibar, marble bathrooms, hairdryer, satellite TV, direct-dial telephone, coffee maker and room service ( 11 am to 11 pm ). All Inclusive: “24 hours All Inclusive service" including all meals, entertainment, activities and a great deal more. Our à la carte restaurants include a Gourmet restaurant, and Italian, a Cajun restaurant, an Oriental and a Steak House Fondue, all with air conditioning. Our guests have the opportunity of a “dine-around”, which includes all the restaurants and bars of the neighbouring hotels Iberostar Paraiso del Mar and Iberostar Paraiso Beach. It includes all beverages (alcoholic and alcohol-free), both nationally-produced and imported. This info is taken from www.iberostar.com |

To Ralfhino + etc.
Hi there, I just wanted to thank you for your quick response time from that last message. I was wondering do you have any recommendations for travel agents. I want to book the Lindo today and I'm waiting to hear back from one travel agency that gave me a great deal. I'm just making sure everything is set to go and then I plan on giving them my credit card.
One more thing do you know of the best dolphin swim program? I've read a ton of people's views on Dolphin Discovery (isla mujeres, and puerto aventuras) but noone has mentioned experiencing the Wet-n-Wild section or Xel-ha. Write back soon-I'll be waiting!! |

Ib* Paraiso Lindo Reservations
Ib* Paraiso Lindo is finally taking reservations!! The resort is scheduled to open in November 2003.
I just called the Ib* reservation line to find out how much the Lindo is per night. The price I asked for is for next May 2004. The room is $155/pp double occupancy. Keep in mind that this price is dealing directly with the Ib* resort. I believe one would get a better price making arrangements through a travel agent as they often receive discounts from the resorts. PM me if you want the Ib* (800) reservation phone number. |

proximity of Lindo to del mar and beach?
Hello all,
I stayed in the del mar two summers ago and had a wonderful time, is Lindo the construction that was going on at that time adjacent to Paraiso Beach? Were I to reserve a room at Lindo, would Del Mar and Beach be within a walking distance away? Thanks for any info you might provide! (Info re: a reputable U.S. (preferably near NYC) travel agent that books these types of packages would also be appreciated) |

ebtroya,
The Lindo is located right next to the IB*P so yes, it would be within walking distance. You can use other IB* facilities but they cannot use the Lindo. And excuse this shameless plug  but I'm a reputable travel agent, book these kinds of vacations, I'm located in NJ and Playa just happens to be my speciality! If you'd like some help with a vacation, you can e mail me at lazyday@comcast.net. That wasn't TOO shameless, was it?  |
