Late Introduction...
Better late than never, I suppose!
My husband's been lurking around this forum since about two months before our first Playa trip (Honeymoon in August of 2007). I decided to officially join in and hopefully I may one day achieve "peep" status
We've booked our second trip back down for January of '09. January is a great time to leave the nasty Maine weather. We've only totalled about 182.5" of snowfall since the season started That's no estimation, either!
So here we are, looking for ways to pass the 290 days...

Welcome!! Where in Maine are you? My hubby is up in Jackman this weekend, snowmobiling with friends. He says it is coooold but great snow!

We are in York..it's in the very southern tip, close to Mass and New Hampshire...

Jackman is great for snowmobiling...especially this year! The amount of snow is crazy...
We have cabin fever so0o0o0o bad right now...
Are you in Maine as well?

Are you in Maine as well?
I don't live in Maine but my sister lives in Cape Elizabeth. Used to spend quite a bit of time in Portland on business. We live in Connecticut but hubby has lived in Hampton Beach, York, Elliot, Portsmouth, and a few other places.

Welcome Tmel! My family lives in Massachusetts and we love Maine, especially the area where you live! We had a wonderful anniversary weekend at the York Harbor Inn. Hopefully we'll get the chance to meet up with you someday!
