Whole fish is readily available
Pesca has a good whole fish dinner, and the two La Jarochas on 30th always have whole fish. Curiously, one of the best deals for whole fish is the ridiculously named "Bip Bip", which is on 5th just past Constitruyentes. Their whole fish dinner is very reasonable, and the best thing on their otherwise mediocre menu. But my personal favorite whole fish dinner is at the Mamitas beach club restaurant. The whole fried fish is delicious, and there is something great about eating it on the beach.

I love all the fish at La Tarraya, so I would think they would do the whole fish great. I've seen other people have one but never had one myself. I love their grouper filet with any of their sauces. My favorite is the garlic sauce and the special Tarraya sauce. And it's amazingly inexpensive. And you can't beat their location on the beach under a lovely canopy of palms. Enjoy!
