Hi to All- New to the site but an old time Playaphile. Main activity is diving, ruining, and exploring. Town has really changed over the years. Fifth Ave. is paved now! Big ugly hotel is at the North end of town Oh well, Change happens , but not always to the better.
Looking for a Gal-Pal / Diving Buddy for May 12-26, 2008. Get your mind out of the gutter now, I just want a nice gal to enjoy Playa with. I hate having dinner alone. Also thought a trip south to Sian Ka'an would be fun. Always better to have a friend along. Would be great to have a dive partner, but not required. I'm a master diver, been on the wall, the reef and in the cenotes. Over 90+ dives in my log book, from all over the world but many in Playa area. Why not a guy? Because woman are much more fun to be with and easier on the eyes- that's why!

Welcome RangerDon! You'll like it here... and you might even make a few friends to boot!

There will be quite a few folks - guys and gals, some coupled up, others solo - in the area in May. After diving, ruining (love that - have quite the mental image !) and exploring, you shouldn't have too tough a time finding dinner companions! You can usually spot some of the PlayaInfo-ers because a lot of them wear the now-famous Nerak beads while out & about. Just look for necklaces made of red, white, and green beads - when you spot 'em, walk up & say "Howdy"! Or you can even get your very own set if you want. But just so you'll know what you're looking for, check it out here.

Have fun on your upcoming trip! Our days overlap a little... Maybe we'll run into each other!

Hello everyone! We're new to the forum and can't wait to be in Playa for 10 nights in June. My wife and I will be there with our 2 teenage daughters (16 and 18) staying at Xaman Ha condos. I must say, we all cannot wait. Living in Oregon makes you long for the sand and sun. We've never stayed in Playa before although we've spent an afternoon there back in 04 when we were staying in Cancun. Don't need to do that again! Looking forward to asking you all some insight into our vacation.
