Any of you guys tried the new Bud Light Lime?

sounds a little like Miller Chill. I'll give it a whirl....Anheuser-Busch creating new Bud Light Lime - Food Inc. - MSNBC.com

Man I'm with you on the Bud Chelada. I was able to finish it but it was a struggle. I'm OK with Miller Chill on a hot summer day so I guess I'll give this new BL a try. I rediscovered my love for Pacifico this past weekend. Mmm good!

I love beer. I don't drink it very often, however. When I do drink beer, I can absolutely, without hesitation, tell you that it will not be of the Bud, Miller, or Coors family- lime or no lime

Give me a coffee porter or IPA from my local brew pub- or better yet- one of the fine brews my husband creates (we have a pretty hefty brown in stock right now- yum)

blech

good beer shouldn't need to have its taste masked by lime anyway.

Of course, we aren't talking about good beer here.

Being a member of the 125 beer passport club (that's 125 different beers) at my local beer hangout (Taco Mac), I have pretty much tried evey style of beer out there. And I'm a fan of nearly every type. But I have to say that sitting on the beach on a hot sunny day during the summer, it's hard for me to beat an ice cold Corona, Modelo, or Sol with a wedge of lime. It goes down like gatorade. :-)

I do agree that nothing beats an ice cold Corona, Modelo, or Sol on the beach- but no lime for me. Still goes down like water

The Michelob with Cactus and Lime was pretty tasty.
I would give the Bud Lite a try at least once.

But I can't stand the Miller with lime.

Bud light with lime...? Isn't that like water with lime???

I tried Miller Chill...that was just soooo wrong. I won't be making that kind of mistake again.

I'm a bit of a beer snob..and I'm okay with that.

The problem, IMO, is not the Lime, the Chelada or the Chill....its the Bud and the Miller....

I find light colored Mexican lagers to have the same problems of American ones. It has to be hot as hades to enjoy one. A good hoppy lager, like Peroni (from Italy) for example is delightful - but give me a beer with some flavor, por favor .

In Mexico I like Leon, Dos Equis Ambar, Negra Modelo.

Its weird for me...I love Corona, Sol etc.....but I also love
Bass Ale, Newcastle Ale and other, heavier beers....

There is something MUCH different between a Corona or a Sol and a Miller or Bud....
