Longer Hair… Older Women
Okay… I’m getting to the point where I’m considering a hair change. And, being as how I’m at or near or beyond whatever that certain age is, I’m wondering what other people consider “acceptable” at my age. (Funny how I never much considered that before…
So… do you have an opinion about older women with longer hair? Edit: And, though you're welcome to give me an opinion on what to do with my hair, I'm just wondering these things for women in general. Last edited by Susie Q Roo : 04-08-2008 at 11:23 PM. |

I think she should wear it however she wants... I don't think I've thought much about how long a woman's hair is... I think I've noticed if it was overprocessed or unhealthy and NEEDED to be cut for those reasons, but not because she hit a certain birthday...
![]() I wish I had the kind of hair that looked good long... my sister does (and she's older than ME): ![]() Last edited by SunKneeMarie : 04-08-2008 at 11:26 PM. |

OMG. I've been listening to my mother telling me that I'm at the age where I should cut my hair since I was 25. Whatever floats your boat is what I say. Short, medium, long......who cares as long as you feel good.

I'm sure she wants men's opinions on the women question... but since the poll only asked about long hair and WOMEN and age, I was trying to include you... mister sensitive ![]() |

I think we should do whatever we want
But I don't think anyone should change their hair just because they reach a 'certain age'.However....some older women do look better, and younger, with a shorter, updated do. Long hair can drag down an already thinning sagging face (that goes for any age actually) . I don't know what I'm going to do when I get to that point...I don't look good with short hair...and the bangs are staying!!! ![]() |

Anyone should wear their hair however they want until the day they die. Of course, if it's unflattering or ridiculous we reserve the right to make fun of you, just as we would snicker at mutton in lamb's clothing (says the woman who will someday be ridiculed in the nursing home for her tattoos).
Just kidding. The End. |
