Game 2 tonight, 8:00 pm Central.
I'm expecting something a little rougher than Game 1 (which is hard to say, because it was pretty constant on Wednesday!). We gotta wear their top lines down with even more physical play so we can last through the end of the game better than last time. Our blue line is thin, so our forwards have got to step up in the corners a lot more. I expect Simon's return to the line-up will help the physicality some. Let's just hope everyone keeps their heads on straight and stays outta the box. Prediction: Wild 4 / Avs 2 to tie up the series while heading to CO over the weekend. |

I agree! That OT period was some of the best hockey I've seen in a while. I tried to watch in bed so I could drift off to sleep for an early morning but it was impossible with all those scoring chances for the Wild! They really deserved that win after dominating the entire OT!!!
Now again tonight!!! GO WILD!!!!!!!!! |

Minnesota Wild dominated in overtime for both of those playoff games... it's amazing they came away with a loss on the first one. For me, it was absolutely impossible to watch sitting down!!
Looking forward to another great game tonight. Think a trip to Eagle Street Grill or McGovern's is in order... Jimmy |

Exciting hockey indeed though. It's so hard to watch the regular season anymore knowing that this level hockey is possible. |
