The kids and I tried out a new spot today...new to us anyway.... Zenzi Beach Club. Read my commentary here.

Last year Mamitas seemed to be very accomodating with the kids....where else would you recommend to take them?

We always seem to gravitate to Captain Dave's but that's because my kids know everyone and we've been going there for 4 years!

This being said, there seem to be other children around as well when we are there. I'm not saying that Zenzi was "unfriendly" to the kiddos. I just wouldn't expect them carry drinks on their heads to amuse them or help them dig to China.

We have taken the kids to Mamitas many times. The beach club is so big, I think they just blend in to the mix. All good, especially when the guys with the yoga balls are there jumping and doing tricks.

Michele - let me start by saying that I think you are VERY cool and VERY pretty.

Thanks for the review... Kelli and I almost stopped there with lollabella and some friends in Feb, but decided to move on for all the construction noise. I did like the look, the beach, and the location was excellent (except for that surly Portugese dive shop owner around the corner.)

The food sounds great, ceviche looks yummie!

I just *HATE* the games they play with the tab, but of course we could all write a BOOK about what we've seen on that front!

And BTW, FWIW, I miss you, Rob, and all of your kids. You guys like, SO totally rock! (Will you be around for any of the peepfest stuff next month?)
