HeLp~Room 288 or 389 RPDC

One more sleep!!!! In looking online these rooms are available however, I would like 389 (because of third floor) but on the robino map it says DOUBLE beds but on the site it says a KING....288 has a king.......any suggestions....!?????????? Need a King

and....it says 288 is smoking and 389 is NOT....I prefer NOT SMOKING but I want the king bed.....no other rooms available at this time! okay.....blah blah blah ....I am going to the Royal...........

Okay...I will just sleep on the beach!!!!!! So excited!

So, which one did you choose? Only two rooms available? And, I'm curious, did you wait to do the online checkin until this morning, or did you hop on at midnight?
We go Friday, which means I will be online at 12:01am Wednesday morning!! Determined to get a room, any room!!

actually it was "unavailable at midnight" so I was tired went to bed...I figured a room is a room....however, I really want king bed and it is choice of king and smoking or double and non smoking ~ I want king and no smoking but not looking that way....oh well....at least I have a room!! All the non smoking rooms are unavailable...I may check in again later!!
So ...you come on Friday!

Yes, we come on Friday....unless, of course, we get bumped because we booked directly with the resort. Not to mention, we're flying Frontier Airlines (which just declared bankruptcy Friday), so I'm starting to feel like there is a little black cloud hanging over this vacation.....or is that a BIG black cloud????

I hope your trip goes smoothly and that you enjoy everything as much as we hope to!

Just an FYI...If you're on Eastern time, you check in a 1:01am. The system is on Central time!

Hi, Shammy. I was paranoid enough to check that out a couple weeks ago!!

Actually, I'm on Mountain Time, which means I get to try at 11:01pm on Tuesday!!! Which is STILL way past my bedtime!!

For what it's worth - our room was smoking and I couldn't tell. I have asthma and notice any smoke smell. I think the only place you might smell smoke would be on the balcony - which I didn't use much since the beach was soooooo close! Plus, remember that they can push the beds together...

I thought only Coba Building is non smoking? I'm going to RPDC on Apr 19....I would be ok with a double, but I really love their king-size beds and all the pillows.

I just hope when I check in I have a) more than 2 rooms to choose from, but highly unlikely and b) can get a room near an elevator.

Just an FYI - last night I was able to do the online check in at 12:01 am EST

So try earlier & get more sleep!

Looks like they added more non smoking - like the 3rd floor of the tulum wing facing Uxmal is now NS - which makes no sense because the 1st & 2nd floors are smoking & smoke rises....woulda made more sense to make floor 1 NS but what do I know? I had about 6-7 rooms to choose from.
