Yeah, of course, but with salt, pepper, garlic, bay leaves, chillies and other basic spices added.

Steak and kidney pie can be excellent when it travels abroad to get dressed properly.

English Sausages (Cumberland, etc...) have also improved no end in recent years despite regulations that still allow producers to stuff them with much bread ever since WWII's meat scarcity.

Scones with jam and cream after a naughty smoke? Priceless.

Spotted Dick? I don't think so, geezer!

There was an earthquake here this morning -- yes, in central Indiana -- rattled the windows. 5.4 at it's epicenter in illinois. Little did I realize that it was likely caused by me being -- for the first time -- in total agreement with Stogey.

I mean there is still lots of racism in Canada, France, Australia, etc. And I am sure there is some in Norway as well.

Well, what I don't get is....if the vast majority of people in a society agree that something is reprehensible, such as giving the KKK the right to rally in public to attempt to sway people to their side- to the point where most posters in here were saying they would go and protest against them, drown them out, etc.....which isn't exactly allowing them free speech anyway, right?

Then why not say, hey, we're all in agreement that we don't accept this, so let's make it against the law?

There isn't any such thing as true 'freedom of speech' there anyway....can you go up to your boss and call him a %$#ing fa*#@* and get away with it?

How do you feel about Louis Farrakhan and the now infamous Reverend White?

Technically no, because everyone has an opinion. While I would personally have nothing to do with anyone associated with the kkk, whit supremisists or any type of group like that. I feel everyone has a right to speak their opinions.

If you really wanted to piss off a kkk member. Just ask them when they start spouting the bible. as they usually do. Ask them how do the feel about the very big possibility that Jesus and probaly 99% of the early biblical saints were very dark skinned?

It's a fact when John in the book of revelations described the physical appearance of Jesus that his feet were of very fine bronz. His hair as white as wool. How many white men do you know that have these type of physical characteritsics?
