I am home now - cooking some scampi and grilling sweet onion and bell pepper, drinking a beer.

Good stat meeting today with the grants people.

losing weight - down another hole in the belt today

Thanks, Syl I've noticed that about some kids, too Sometimes, when I've told parents about something cool their kid did, or how they helped someone out- the parents are astounded. Like they could never imagine that their kid could be capable of something like that. Also- it seems like the kids that are worried over the most- blossom the most when out from under mom's wing. Like, while mom's hanging out making sure shy kid is ok- he's hanging all over her and hiding behind her leg. The minute she leaves- he's outgoing, upbeat, and having a great time Strange creatures, these children

What a beautiful day in the SoCal. It is still about 75F outside, and MikeW and I just got back from a very nice long walk in the hills behind the house.
Life is good

Now I need to figure out what to make for dindin... Too many choices.

I did stats this week for a student thesis. She was disappointed that she didn't see a difference. Fail to reject the null...

Odds are that you are already healthier

I like Boston. Someday, I want to go back and see all the historical sights. Last time I was there was about 30 years ago, and we were only there for about 1 day. Then we went up to Maine, turned around and drove back to Miami in 2 days. That is not enough time to see anything.
