Yeah, me too. Except for this one: The Indigo Girls do a cover of "Uncle John's Band" by the Grateful Dead that puts the boys to shame. It's on a Dead tribute album entitles Deadicated. Worth a listen.

Oh, I thought you were talking about the thread title song! Yes, I know Springsteen did Cadlillac Ranch first, and he did it better. Naturally, right- he is Springsteen! The Nitty Gritty version is just one I remember well from those days!


I have to say there are some remakes I like better....many will disagree, but I love the song Landslide by the Dixie Chicks better than the Fleetwood Mac version (I know, sacriledge, and I ADORE Fleetwood Mac too.)
