went there last week with my 12 yr old son and it was awesome.one of the better steaks that i've had in my life.also went to el fogon the day before.almost didn't go in,because of the long name thought it was the wrong place.both places were very good, cannot wait to go back.

I know there have been lots of versions of the aracherra recipe posted on this site and other sites but a version that's preferred to HC's is one I'd love to try. Any chance you'll share your aracherra recipe?

new HC location

I've eaten there three times and was happy twice. The only mistake we made the first time was varying from our routine and ordering a steak instead of the arrachera. Our steaks were mediocre at best, tough and overcooked with not much flavor. Following Voltaire's dictum, "Once a philosopher, twice a pervert", the next two times, I got the arrachera and found it as good as the original HC on 1st.

Of course, it's possible for any restaurant to have a bad night, not trying to discount your experience at all.

We ate there for the first time last week. It was awesome. Love the garlic crema on the potatoes! We asked the waiter which was better, the imported arrachera or the homegrown stuff. He recommended the homegrown variety, so we went with it and it was terrific. Salsa was great too.
