We're not buying, but our very good friends are. And I've looked at countless pics to help them narrow down the properties they are interested in seeing. What surprises me most are pics of some messy rooms/flats. It may be just an everyday mess, i.e. a piece of clothing on a sofa, a stack of newspapers on the coffee table, but it just looks awful IMO. Why don't people put that away before taking a photo with wich they are trying to sell their property? It would only take a moment, it just doesn't make any sense!

Actually, it's the realtor who takes the pictures, and many times, I do have to tidy rooms before I take the shots. The worst all time photo I ever saw on the MLS was of a kitchen with the sink piled high with dishes, and a cat sitting on top of the dishes. IMO that realtor needed to be fired
![]() Jami, our MLS just upped the number of photos you can upload to 25, hopefully, your MLS will follow suit. |

Not a real estate agent, but married to one. Simple supply and demand. Supply is high and nobody is buying, means prices are dropping. Top story on MSN -12.7% in one year.
Buyers know in this market that the only ones selling are desperate sellers. If you can afford to, take it off the market and rent it for a year or so. |

Ours is now 12, so that's better than the 8 we used to have. Around here in the good old days (10+ years ago) the MLS employed the photographer, so only an outside pic was included, and often it was trash day, or the garage door was open or the like. We've come a long way baby!

It's picking up here. I've been very busy. There are lots of buyers looking right now. You're in Seabeck, right? Not sure about that area. I can tell you Pierce County is definitely on the upswing. Seattle (downtown and surrounding, Ballard, Fremont, Wallingford, etc) are selling very quickly, normally under a month, some in just days. So all is not doom and gloom.
