Royal Playa Del Carmen Menus
Does anyone have, or know where I could find, the menus for the Royal Playa Del Carmen? I'm looking for restaurant menus as well as drink menus and room service. Thanks.

I already replied to this question once. The menus are not available on-line. I searched for them before my trip and there were nowhere to be found. I meant to take pictures of them during my trip, but I never had my camera during meals.

RPDC Menus
Is there something in particular that those of us who have gone there can answer for you? We could have RPDC-Alumni post their favorite meals or something.
My favorites were: Pelicanos: Flank Steak with cheese-stuffed chile pepper and any of their fish items- the scallops with feta cheese were really good. Everything comes with really nice fresh veggies cooked al-dente. Maria-Maries: Rack of Lamb and those yummy little onion croissant rolls. Buffet: The omelettes for breakfast, the fresh figs and other fruit, and the coffee was really good everywhere. Room Service: The "basket of danish bread" with a big pot of coffee every morning, plus the fruit pearls. For lunch/dinner the Vagabond Sandwich was good, the heart of palm salad, the caesar salad with smoked salmon, and the lemon pie were all great. |

Not anything in particular. I was just curious to see what kind of food they had available. I did not see that someone had answered this question already, sorry for inconveniencing you in any way. When looking at other hotels I was able to find PDFs of the menus, that's why I was wondering about this one.
Thanks |

When are you going? We are going to be there the end of May until June the 7th. Would be happy to take pictures of the menus and post them when we return. How does that sound? Or were you thinking you need them a little sooner. Wish I could help you out more. It there is something in particular you are wondering about this will be my fourth time there and would be glad to try and help.

I do wish that all of the resorts would post their menus. I love to browse on-line menus in general, but when making a decision about where to stay, they would be even more helpful. Even if they didn't post them for every restaurant. Just so you could get an idea of what to expect.

From what I remember the room service menu was quite extensive. We are not room service menu people but we did indulge one evening out of the four times we have been there and the sandwiches were quite tastey.....There were also lots of hot items like pasta and such. Can not recall the breaky menu off hand but will try and post the menu once my neice and I return.

When we stayed April 2006,2007 we always enjoyed the shrimp cocktail at the buffet in the evening. The shrimp were hugh. The buffet also makes great omelets like another mentioned, and the fresh fruit is to die for each day. Maria Maries for dinner we had the steak and shrimp which was very good. Never crowded for dinner when we ate there. Pelicano's shrimp meals were also very good. Steak OK. Loved eating there for lunch since on the beach. You may not see guacamole and chips on the menu, but you can order it, and it is great. The room service, we had omelets, fresh fruit, coffee, great orange juice delivered. For late dinner we ordered chicken tacos, hamburger with fries, also guacamole and chips. I wish we could of been there April 2008, don't think we will make it this year. Everyone else have a great trip.
