Day 3: Ok from yesterday's peep meet with timpete, and kccooper, this morning was a bit rough, but we still managed to get an early jump on things and catch the breakfast buffet at Grand Coco. Once again the omelettes were outstanding, I had sausage links and fried potatoes to go with, which were suprisingly very good. We then grabbed a couple poolside chairs, of course close to the poolside bar. It was almost beer:30, in fact Hector just opened her up and bellied up to grab 54 oz of ice cold Miami Vice, or Crocket and Tubs, whatever prefer, or what generation you were born in!! Before long Lalo and his activity gang were recruiting folks for some water polo and we decided to join in, the water was bit chilly but we stayed active and us tourists gave the hired help a good lesson in water polo. We kept it friendly, and we then took to the lounge chairs for some more sun and Crocket and Tubs's. After catching enought rays for the day, we decided to move towards the beach and do a little snorkeling, which was free at GCB. The wind was a bit strong but we managed to make it out to the reef beyond the boats. We saw several colorful fish and even saw a couple puffer fish. The snorkeling didn't compare to Jamaica but it was still very exciting. After about and hour, we decided to take to the beach again and refill the Bubba Kegs and see what the other were up to. A few had ventured out an went fishing and some went into town, but a good 8 of us were rarin to catch up on lost times.........again! By this time I refilled the Bubba with some ice cold XX, made another trip to the restroom and grabbed some nachos from the snackstand. They were just ok we'll say, liquid cheese on chips, but it filled the void. After we beached it, we made it back to the room and changed for the Italian Restaurant, which required long pants for the guys with closed shoes. The Italian Restaurant was fairly decent with limited selection though, lots of red sauce, couldn't get any fetuccini with alfredo sauce which was our favorite. There was main course with soup and a dessert of choice, I suggest going with chocolate, as cheesecake selections were very different than we were used to. After dinner, we hit the disco for some mojitos and a few games of pool and bit of dancing for some. What a day, very relaxing, we made 'er back to the room, once again a bit late!!
