Day 7:
Everyone seems to have come to the conclusion that its time to face the music, the trips come to an end. I wouldn't traded the trip for anything in the world, everyone always talks about not goin on vacation because they would rather buy a new couch, get a facelift, or that new riding lawnmower. The fact of the matter is, all those things get old in time and before you know it, they get replaced, and you never knew you had them. Go on a vacation and you'll have life long memories!!! Everytime we get together with our friends, we always end up saying something like, "remember the time in PDC when Single Dave and the Urban Cowboy got up on stage and participated in the Tough Man Competion?![]() Or the time the bird took a crap on Joanna's ice cold beverage, and partially on her face!! ![]() Or the time when Clyed and T-wade tore up the dance floor!! ![]() Or the time on the boat when......??? can't remember because we had too many Tequila shots!! ![]() Or the time we were the only in one picture because we stayed the entire trip napping in the room!! ![]() Or those numerous times when T-wades job choice of SWAT member started to get compromised by the Shrine Circus!! ![]() Or the 3 Amigos.............wait a minute theres a fourth!! ![]() The fact of the matter is you'll never forget the good times you've had on a vacation, so drink, relax, cut loose, respect, and enjoy your time, because you all work hard for times like this. We're not all filthy rich, so make the most of the times you have, especially with friends and family. Ok I'll get on with the final day in PDC. Well we wake up, everyone seems to be gathering that last bit of sun and sand, taking walks on the beach, spending their last peso, and buying that last souveneir. We hit the buffet for breakfast, gander up to the lobby and await our transportation which was right on time. He loads us up and before you knew it we were in the Cancun Airport. The lines were a bit long but went very fast, once again there were several in the group that had water and other objects that weren't permissable. We than took some more time to hit the duty free shops and ate at Bubba Gumps. The place arrived and the journey slowly starts to come to an end, most of us took a healthy nap on the plane and when we arrived back in the Frozen Tundra (Minnesota) we were met by a snowstorm. So the trip didn't end abruptly. The normal 3 hour trip up north turned into 5 1/2, oh well, we were eager to get home as see our 3 yr old who happened to make it into our bed sometime throughout the night........................................So thats our trip, I'll post a huge portion of pictures and a summary when time permits. Thanks for all the reply's, it re-kindled the vacation goer in us and were making plans for next year, we'll definetly keep everyone posted, and who know's maybe we'll run into some of you!!!!
