Fire at ABR

I just read that there has been a fire that destroyed the main palapa area of the Akumal Beach Resort. Fortunately there are no reported injuries, all guest and staff are said to be safe. I'm sure it will take some time to rebuild, though.

There's more information on a website that deals predominantly with Akumal and areas south of Playa. I don't know if its OK to post a link, so I won't.
