Sol Beer is now sold in Wisconsin!!
For those of you who have looked in either Wisconsin or Minnesota for Sol beer,
and haven't been able to find it, we discovered this past weekend that it is sold in Hudson, Wisconsin!. We were at Dick's Bar and it happens to be beer of the month for $1.95. That's a sweet deal. So Tony went next door to Spririt Seller liquor store and $13.99/12pk there it was! Anyway, had to share. |

Now that Mike and I are adapting low carb eating as a permanent life change, most of the GOOD beers are out. WAAAY TOO HIGH in CARBS. Sol comes in at 10 carbs per 12 oz. bottle. Corona has 14. The lowest Mexican beer that we've found is Corona Light ~ and it still comes in at 5 carbs. We're trying to stick to the ones that are around 3 carbs per bottle. Gonna be a rough time beer-wise when we're in Playa.

I'm a huge Coors Light fan here. It's hard to beat for a good tailgating beer or hot day at the beach. One thing a lot of people don't know about Corona Light is that it's only a 3.2 beer. Regular Corona is 4.5 I think. Not saying that you have to have a high alcohol content to make a beer good.....I'm just sayin. :-)

Coors has a terrible record concerning workers rights, discrimination and support of extremists. Here's some info:
