It's nearly time for my holiday!!
I'm very excited so just thought I would vent my excitement!!!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Only 6 and a half weeks till I come to Mexico, and to make it go even quicker till I come, I'm also going to France in 5 and a half weeks, which doesn't leave me much time to get home unpack/wash everything/pack/get my hair done etc...but I'm very excited because I've never had two holidays in one year before, let alone within a week of each other! And to make me even happier it's sunny here for once too ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Well originally we were at the Iberostar Tucan, and we swapped to the Sandos Playacar - and paid more money for it
but looking at the beach conditions at the mo I think we feel fairly happy with the decision, touch wood that nothing too drastic happens in next few weeks. We tried, and desperately wanted, to book the Shangri La, but with the charges I would have got from my bank for paying in dollars it would have worked out just that bit too expensinve. Would like to go there next year if we can afford to go before it shuts but it would mean having our holiday early. There are a few of us possibly going in 09 though so perhaps a villa may be the way to go...I'll probably start hassling you all with questions about the 09 trip in a few weeks, as I can never get over having come back from Mexico, without starting to plan the next trip ![]() |

I feel your excitement We're leaving on the 18th for England for a week(Abingdon), then off to Rome for a week, followed by two weeks in France. No Mexico until maybe in December. Lucky devil. Two holidays so close? Have fun, fun, fun! |

![]() Where abouts in France are you going? You must be very excited! I know, I feel so lucky this year, we took the chance to do it while the fella has some time off from working, and my little girl is at nursery so has been granted some term time off - which meant we could get the France holiday super cheap. Can't wait ![]() |

I had never heard of Abingdon before a friend moved there. It's just outside Oxford. We're staying in Carrieres-sur-Seine which is about 20 minutes (train) from Paris. Sort of a country feeling but not far from the big city. And you? Paris? Are you flying or going by Eurostar? We return to England by Eurostar. I love that train! |
