Thursday to Sunday Party Thread

What a cr@ppy day! I'm glad it's almost over!
Turns out that the fight Josh got in last week was worse than I (and the school) thought. A kid video taped it and the school found out. They all watched it and wouldn't let me see it. They said it was now police evidence and they didn't want me to see it. I guess it was a group of kids yelling at the kid to kick Josh in the face and beat him worse. Josh didn't have a mark on him and they wanted to know if he did. They (police) are pressing charges against the kid but he will continue to go to school with Josh. Doesn't sound like much is going to happen to this kid unless he threatens Josh or the kid that turned the video in. I told the police that I have to school 6 times for bullying this year and I am tired of it. The school is eating crow now because I told them last week that the kid lied to them and he started it all. I am so mad I could spit! and sad for Josh because he had to go through this. I have been in tears all afternoon.

omg suzy i am sooo sorry..what ahorrible thing to have happen to your soni cannot even imagine how i would feel...that kid should be suspended and on serious probation...sorry you are not getting the support you should from the school...take care...

Thanks! They can't suspend him more than they already did. I don't know why not though. They switched Josh's schedule so they won't be in the same classes now. And I am keeping him home tomorrow to let things cool off. I told the school if he could finish his year at home with work they sent for him I would do that.

Wow! How horrible that the school isn't supporting you. Maybe it's best that you don't see the video though...? You might want to kill that kid!

I don't think I want to either! I am already to throttle him and the kids that cheered him on.
Thanks. He's a big ol' softy too and it kills me that kids are picking on him.

So sorry to hear about this Suzy. I'm sorry your week is ending on a sour note. Unfortunately the school probably saw the tape, realized they screwed up, and is doing all they can not to get sued. That's crazy that they won't let you see the tape. I'll PM you a few tequila shots!

It sounds like from this and the following posts of yours that I was a lot like Josh when I was his age.

Suzy, that hurts my heart to read. As a mother, I understand your anger and tears. I would be the same way. It was always one of my biggest fears that one or both boys would be picked on. So far it hasn't happened. But anytime I read about something like this, I just feel sick all over. Hugs to you and Josh.

I dont know what I would do if I was in your shoes. I think it would eat me up to....6 times

I do think I would talk to a lawyer and I would want to talk to the parents of the kids so I could have my say.

Makes me sick and my heart goes out to you.

I called a friend of ours who is a Police Officer and he say's once the investigation is over we can ask for a copy of it in case we want to pursue things civally. I have gotten some info on a cival case but she couldn't really give me legal advice! So we'll see what happens from here! I just really want them all punished A LOT and to learn that it's not right to do what they did! The school is very sorry for what happened! As they should be! And I am keeping him home tomorrow to work on motorcycles so we can go riding on saturday!
