Thanks for the memories. 1996 was the first time that I visited Playa del Carmen. The ocean had to be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life! During that visit, I took a day trip to Tulum and was amazed by the beach there. I spent some time at Don Armando's cabaņas. Lots of nekkid people walking around.

First time in Playa was 1979 nothing but a small fishing village, and extremely beautiful. All our pictures from back then are on slides.Cozumel was a dream Island back then and the snorkeling was even better than it is today. But Playa is still our most favourite place to be.

In 1996, Fifth stopped at Calle Ocho. During my first visit, I went to a Dos Equis party at the Banned. Cheap Dos Equis and reggae music...it was a blast. I stayed out late and a gay couple who I had been partying with walked me back to the Pelicano Inn. They were from Tennessee and it was their third time visiting Playa.

You can take your slides to Sam's or most any processing place and they will put them on a CD and then you can post them here!
My mom has been doing this and she made albums of pictures from slides for my sisters and me for Christmas. WAY COOL!!!!!! |
