1st 45 you bought?

I think mine was Oye Como Va by Santana; I guess I was predestined to fall in love with Mexico. The second was Backfield in Motion and I can not think of the group. It was years before I figured out why my mother was horrified. I didn't care about the lyrics, I just liked the song.

Amazingly my belt drive turntable still works, at least the last time I dug out some vynil. I hate to think what that rubber band will cost when it goes. I think my last stylus (I couldn't find just the needle) was like US$75.

For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, ask you parents. My FIL has a great collection of 78's that we have no ability to play

It may be because I live in Texas but I thought this thread was about guns.

I am almost positive it was a Beatles 45 but don't recall which one.

I believe it was "You Light Up My Life" by Debbie Boone. I played it on my Fisher Price record player and sang along into a fake microphone.

In Brasil they were 33 1/3.

The Beatles - the first one they released. Had She Loves You and I Want to Hold Your Hand on it.

I played this one, though it doesn't count cause it's an album:
