GOGO is a No No!
I felt compelled to post this message after attempting to rectify with the local travel agent and GOGO Worldwide. We leave on 8/24 for
Paraiso del Mar. It was a trip that was booked thru work related CarlsonWagonlit Travel. They in turn booked the trip thru GOGO. After booking the trip we decided to upgrade to a Junior Suite. We were quoted an upgrade rate of $49 per night and gave our credit card number to the CarlsonWagonlit agent. Two days later a charge of $79 per day. I called the number on my GOGO confirmations and was told that they only deal with travel agents. Called Carlson back and was told that was what GOGO charged and if I cancelled the upgrade my entire package and flight confirmations would be also cancelled. I emailed the resort directly and was quoted an upgrade rate of $40 per night. GOGO overcharged $273 for the seven night stay. Shame on CarlsoWagonlit and GOGO !!!!! |

Seems to be that Carson Wagonlit owes you a refund. The fact that they outsourced your vacation is not your problem. If the mistake was made, they need to either make sure it is corrected, or credit your account the amount due.
Assuming you have everything in writing (the upgrade quote), you can also file with your state's attorney general's office. Good luck to you. |
