GSP. Ever heard of a Resort running out of draft beer? - Page 5

we'll be there june 15-22. i'm sure all 100 of us won't be traveling around in a pack together, but you'll probably be able to see us! i've already yelled at everyone not to play the towel game

I believe the delux rooms and higher, all have a minibar. We had a Jr. Delux swim out and had a minibar. It was always stocked with canned Modelo, and it was always cold.

I don't think I drank draft beer at all when I was there. YUCKO!! Free drinks all week, and my choice was normally a margarita, daquari or pina colada. MMMMM.

Thanks so much for the info sunshine!!! margaritas sound delicious!! I'm not sure where I read this, but there has been talk of GSP having yummy blueberry margaritas! Can't wait to try them!!

Hi everyone I stayed at this resort the last week of February till the first week of March. Management was really poor there but the resort itself is very beautiful. I did have a fantastic time in spite of it's downfalls and I am a really fussy person.Your on vacation so try not to let the organization part of it bother you too much. Your reservation is already made so you can't turn back now. You know what the downfalls are so you should be prepared. The a la cartes are really, really good and there is a private bar outside of each one so go there for dinner rather than the buffet. We had unlimited a la carte dinners while we were there. They have top shelf booze too so if they run out of beer there is plenty more to drink. have fun your on vacation the rooms are fabulous as is the entertainment.Think of Kenny Chesneys's song...no shoes, no shirt, no problem lalalala...and have fun it's not that bad

Blueberry margaritas are at BABES in town not at the resort and they are absolutely wonderful!!!!

I am here now, having a wonderful time. Been here since Sunday, sorry that I am just now getting a chance to report in. The only bad experience has been the seafood resturant. We watied nearly an hour before our first course was brought to us, and it was actually the second course...they never even brought the salad. We ate the first/second course, waited another 15 minutes with no drinks or any service, so we left. We also ate at the Mexican resturant and the Grill, they were both fantastic, with great service. The beer is flowing from all taps and all the drinks are cold. The beach is rocky, but I havnt worn water shoes the first time (I forgot them at home) and haven't had a problem. Well, of to get cleaned up for dinner, we are having Japanese tonight. Adios.

My friend just returned from GSP. She said the mango daiquris are out of this world. Aside from a couple of problems with her room, she had a great time. Going in July, can't wait!!

I am too!

I probably won't even notice the little nuances. I'll be too busy relaxing and having a good time to complain. If the food isn't perfect or doesn't arrive at my table in a timely manner, i'm sure i won't have a canary over it.

Just wanted to add that on TA the reviews for the Sunset side are better than the Riviera side - it's so strange, it's the same resort! I don't care what anyone says, as far as I'm concerned the issues are all non-issues. All I know is:
*I WILL NOT BE AT WORK PUTTING UP WITH THE BULLS*&^!
*I WILL NOT BE CLEANING MY HOUSE OR DOING LAUNDRY!
*I WILL NOT BE COOKING DINNER! OR RUNNING KIDS HERE AND THERE!
Is there anything that sounds better than that except that I'LL BE LAYING ON A BEACH or BY THE POOL, PALM TREES... SUNNY SKIES... AND A DEELISH DRINK CHOICE OF THE DAY IN MY HAND!

Anyone disagree???
