Yay!

The first of the Peepfest trip reports! And you're doing a FINE job so far!! Nice to see so many familiar faces having so much fun.

Man, that JimmyMN is down there WAAAAAY too frequently!!

Wish you two could have been there. It was a good break for us. Our summer is going to be hectic at best....they broke ground Monday 5-12-08 on our new house....finally....then had a big snow storm and shut everything back down till next week....go figure. Hope you both are well....and i'll pass along the hello to my better half.

DAY 3 This is our last full day in Playa. Most of the peeps that we had been hanging with went to Tulum ….we decided just to hang around town and veg out. Hit the beach in the morning and soaked up some rays. Lunch time it clouded up a little and a few rain drops fell….so we decided it was time to walk around a bit and get a bite to eat. We stopped at Carboncitos (one of my favs) for lunch…

Chicken and beef tacos…

We just wandered around town and soaked in Playa. We were to meet a few peeps for Dinner at Manne’s (Prime Rib nite). They got back in town around 7 pm and we headed out to eat……Man,was it good…..here are a few shots….

After dinner we walked with the gang over to the Beer Bucket for the last time…..pretty dead…so we said our goodbyes to everyone. We had to fly back home in the morning. It was a very short weekend trip….but we had a blast. I think we really surprised some of our friends by showing up. It was very relaxing. It was good to finally meet some peeps that I have talked to and heard so much about. Can’t wait to do it again…..hopefully next year. They did finally break ground on our new home in Colorado as we flew home Monday…..so that means the rest of my summer will be shuttling back n fourth from Chicago to Denver. I’ll try and keep everyone posted of our progress. Great to see you all and we sure do hope to see you all again real soon.

it was great meeting you guys at Bad Boys on Sat. i turned around and had to take a double take as i remembered reading "oh...i wish we could be there, but can't". way to go with surprising us!!!

Hey tim n Dee Dee........We really weren't going.....but when we heard about the money from uncle sam....well,the pull to Playa was to much to overcome....lol. We really wanted to surprise some peeps....which..believe me WE DID....

I finally got to meet the famous "A"..... Wish we were around for the bar crawl....we really wanted to do that with all the peeps. Good Luck on your upcoming wedding.....I'm sure you will share pics of it with us all.

Great minature TR/ always love the beach photos and the favorite best food, YUM, can taste a ice cold Sol right now. GO VIKES AP says he's got 2000 yards this season and a repeat MVP!!!!!!
