Hi All,
Looking forward to my first peep meet on the 15th. Don't forget that a few of us are cruising the Cata Maya on 12 June, plenty of room for more. Looks like peeps on 12 May enjoyed their cruise, we should also.

Noticed you have 2 daughters, teenagers? Mine's 15, always looking to find her diversions while in Playa

pitt alum we have two daughters, with the youngest at 17. Would be kewl for them to meet another teen close in age. When do you arrive? We arrive on 11 June and depart 18 June, not enough time for sure. We are staying at Magic Paradise condos near Mamitas beach

We arrive in Playa, from Akumel, in the AM on the 10th and leave the 15th. So I must have had a brain cramp, we can do this Peep meet. We are staying at the Mimi Del Mar, on the beach next to Bad Boyz.

Count me in at the Peep Meet! I'll be there from June 12-26...waiting and waiting whilst my visa is renewed so I may as well party.

AND everyone bring your 81mg aspirin for the children at Angel Notion. If you need more information pm me. Bring as many bottles of aspirin as you can - I'm trying to meet my goal of 120 bottles by the end of June.

Do you know if there are any limits on how much asprin one can bring into the country? Also, do they need anything else? We are packing all of our clothes we will need in one suitcase and wanting to fill the other one with stuff to mule down. We'd be glad to bring anything else that is needed...clothes, etc. Just let me know.

I'm not sure if there are restrictions on how much aspirin you can bring. I've had people tell me all kinds of stories about how they brought it. Only one person said they had their luggage searched at customs and were questioned as to why they had so much aspirin. They replied that it was a donation for sick children to the Angel Notion clinic in Playa and they were allowed to bring it in. Others have told me that they put bottles in each piece of luggage as well as carry on...others have said they were never questioned...others have said they were never stopped. The last time I went I took 16 cartons of paper medical tape and no one asked me any questions about it.

Lavonna has also said that they can use all kinds of antibiotic cream and hearing aid batteries. I'm not sure yet what size of hearing aid batteries, I'm still trying to figure that one out. They don't need clothing at the clinic...having said that I've also brought some extra clothing and given it away to some of the workers at our building and they have been very happy to receive it.

The one thing that they could really use is Precision Glide needles (syringes) #27 but I've really been nervous to bring those thinking they would be mistaken for drug use.

I'll let you know if I find out info about the hearing aid batteries.

Uh oh, I don't think I am gonna make it to this Peep Meet after all...I just realized I will be in Bacalar from June 13-16. Will have to find you somewhere else that week. I'm sorry, I just didn't realize the dates coincided.
