This happened on Sunday, to it is appropriate for the weekend party thread.

Tommy stopped by with one of his business buddies. Had a very pleasant few hours sitting on the deck. He's lost weight too, since the last time he was here. Great travel stories he has.

I survived giving 2 presentations that day- without the assistance of adult beverages. I sure did consume a few of them afterwards, though! The instructor even referenced a study which concluded that public speaking is at the top of the list of peoples' fears.

Good luck....let the "mad mom" in you take over, you are going to do fine.
Stay strong and keep us posted.

Thanks! I am home now. The mad Mom went in "walking tall and carrying a big stick"! I was all set to pull him out for the rest of the year. Counselors said he had enough day's to where he wouldn't get in trouble. But make sure it's ok with the principal. He was my next stop. Josh was in the nurses office with another stomach ache. And he went in with me. The principal is calling him down and is going to tell him to stay away from Josh and his friends. If he goes up to Josh's friend while he is there he's going to be in trouble. So they extended the "no contact" order to include Josh's friends. I figure if they are going to make Josh's life hell at school, I'm going to make theire life hell. I showed him the letter thats going to the DA and he kept a copy for their files to. And he finally apologized for everything that has happened. That would have been nice weeks ago.
Seven days left. Then it will be
They are taking this off of Josh's record , and he is staying home with me next tuesday instead of going on the fiels trip. He doesn't want to go to the museum anyways!

I also found out what team Shane will be on next year! He's going to have a very cool science teacher next year! He's going to be so excited!

I can speak in front of a group if I have a set script/speech in hand... I'm actually pretty good at those kinds of presentations... I wasn't the President of the Forensics/Competitive Speech team in high school for nothing! But standing up and just talking off the top of my head--NO WAY-- I stutter and stammer and can't remember anything I'd planned to say

son hates presentations in school... and they do SO MANY more than we ever did growing up....

Looks like we've all avoided this thread for a few weeks, lol. I know I haven't been eating the healthiest, but I'm trying. I think I might have mentioned this website before... thedailyplate.com , but just wanted to bring it up again. I'm trying to really use it to track my eating to see where my calories, fat, carbs, protein, etc. are ending up in a day. There are also message boards with diet/nutrition/exercise forums that can be quite helpful too.

Ignore my last post, meant for it to go in the diet/exercise thread, not really sure what I just did.
