well..... Hot Donna’s flight was supposed to arrive at 11:25, so with our little extortion delay, we we’re running a little late….. luckily, the Viva Aerobus pilot accommodated us by being an hour and ten minutes late
 …….. so, we walked up the the fence where all the transfer drivers hang out in front of the exit doors and set up camp……… to make sure Hot Donna found her proper transfer vehicle, and utilizing our Lol-ha pizza box and a box of crayons....we came up with this idea…..  ....  it was a big hit with the other transfer guides……… and it was a big hit w/ Ms Donna too……  some suspicious looking characters filed out behind Donna……. Here’s our girlfriend Trish…. One of our first Peeps to meet back in ‘03   here’s Big Dave….. no comment on him  and here’s the dangerous couple known as Penny and Jerry….. almost didn’t recognize Penny…. She had a shirt on  I threw Hot Donna and her bags into the car and we headed back to Akumal…. Well….. Donna was bitchin about being hungry ……..sooooo……. we headed to the gas station ...... and then beer store …….. then we stopped at Soriana in Playa to finally get those groceries….. nice place this Soriana….. pretty much has everything you could need for a 10 day stay…… picked up breakfast stuff since I told the chicks that I was providing the chauffer/security duties so they would have to do all the cookin…….. grabbed some oranges/eggs/juice/beer/wine/bacon/chipotle sauce/salsas/bread/chips……. And chorizo…..mmmmm ……….. 30 minutes later, we unload everything into the condo and rush Donna down to La Buena Vida to get her some food before she passes out  …….. We love hangin out at La Buena Vida, always have a good time…...but the food has always been kinda hit or miss……. Except for their nachos!!!…….. these are always good ……but, as Lil G pointed out….. “how could you screw up nachos??? ” …….. ordered up some beer and margaritas to go with the nachos and then we began to chill on the view……..    Sucks to be me pic #1…....  We hung out till about 5:00 and then shifted bars to catch Happy Hour at Lol-ha……. Grabbed a spot at the bar……. ordered up some beer and margaritas …. And Don Julio shots  …… wasn’t long when BeachWolverine and Lee showed up and sat down with us at one of the tables in the sand…. and of course, we ordered up some beer and margaritas….. and Don Julio shots ……. Yes, there is a pattern developing….. maybe I can just shorten that to “BMDJs” for convenience  ………. Well, I was sitting there and up at the bar, I noticed a pretty blonde in a funky cowboy hat…. Just like Arturo described… it was a our friend Laura!!! ….. she was involved in some kinda intense girl conversation with another chick, so I ran up….. grabbed her by the arm …… she looks at me for a second…… jumps up in the air…. And says ……..“SCOTT !!!!!!” too cool !!! she didn’t mention the hair………. Well……. anyway…. Sometimes you gotta wait for it………. “Dude !!!…….. you cut your hair!!! ” yep, that’s me !!! Laura snatched her husband away from his drink…. Which was no easy task…. And introduced him as “Steve” …….. we had never met because years ago, Steve was never interested in spending a boring week in Akumal …….. but apparently, he’s hooked now cuz 30 minutes prior to our introduction, we were watchin this guy havin a good ‘ol time at the bar slammin drinks and breakin ash trays !!! ……. I figured we were gonna like him !!! ……. Donna kept BW and Lee company while me and Terri arranged a time to meet Laura and Steve for dinner….. agreed on sometime Friday nite….. said our goodbyes and sat back down at our table…… it was getting late so my mind turned to food…… figured it’d be a good opportunity to experience the dining room at Lol-ha….. it’s always been closed when we stay there in September, and besides…..it was Flamenco nite …… BW and Lee had a nite snorkel planned, so they hit the water instead….. yeah…. "Ya’ll go ahead…. Watch out for those eels!!!" ……… can’t remember what we actually ordered, but it was good…. I think I had seared Ahi ???  ……. or maybe it was grouper ??? The girls probably had fish too since I remember a bottle of wine being involved ……. The Flamenco troupe was awesome but Lil G was tryin her best to convince us that the tall blonde dancer was actually a dude in drag  …… me and Donna weren’t convinced, we maintained she was Spanish …… it soon became obvious that the wine on top of the BMDJs was takin a toll on the girls, so we took off for the condo and crashed out……… well…. anyways …. We went back to the condo, poured some Maestro shots and sat out on the balcony for 30 minutes and then we crashed out…….. well…..anyways ….... I crashed out….. the girls moved their party to their bedroom and stayed up till 3:30 laughin and giggling…….. ANOTHER GREAT DAY IN AKUMAL !!!
