Lil G crawled into bed and woke me up around 6:20 Thursday morning
….. and then she started to snore……..  freakin great !!!……… for about 1.7 seconds, I considered tryin to go back to sleep, but my eyes were wide open, so I crawled outta bed, made a pot of coffee, and walked downstairs to the beach to enjoy the rest of the sunrise……  ....talked to Elio for a bit about the turtle situation in Half moon Bay and he said the new development in the center of the beach had definitely had an effect on the turtles…… seems he only had two nests to care for right now  , but was hopeful he’d see a few more pop up  …….. chilled for an hour or so and kept expectin Donna to come join me since she’s always an early riser too…. But no Hot Donna for me this morning  …… ran down to the internet place to check in and send a PM to Margo over on Tulum.Info, tried to call Babaloo but Mexican phones are apparently beyond my comprehension  ……went back to the condo and watched some ESPN SportsCenter and made some more coffee, but still no live chicks  …… so I wandered back down to the beach and then around 9:30, Ms Donna appeared on the balcony ….. and then, maybe 20 minutes after that, Lil G appeared on the balcony for her customary “Princess wave” to her loyal subjects below ……. COOL!!!! …….. they’re both awake !!!……… they can cook me breakfast now  !!!……… went back upstairs and waited patiently on the balcony for Donna to bring me some fresh squeezed orange juice…… damn this is good stuff !!!…… couldn’t help but think about how much better it’d be with a shot of Maestro Tequilero in it ……. Wasn’t much longer and the girls had a fine spread of scrambled eggs, chorizo, bacon, toast, and salsa layed out on the table…… mmmmmmm…….. chorizo w/ chipotle sauce  !!!……… after breakfast, the three of us walked downstairs to get our chill on and grab some rays……. Sun rays that is……… after a while, I told the girls I’d be back in a few minutes, and I went back to the internet place to surf around a bit…….. managed to get some help from the clerk on dialing Mexican phones and made contact with Babaloo……. Seems the idea of hangin out on the beach with Hot Donna and Lil G interested him greatly , so I jumped in the Mark 5 and headed up Paamul…… Rick took 83 seconds to show me around his digs, loaded his cooler w/ beer and soon we were chillin on Half Moon Bay too !!! …………. It was already 11:30, so it was safe to start drinkin, so I grabbed a Mirinda naranja (now with Vitamin C!!!) and proceeded to get my drink on…… around 2:30 or so, I noticed that Hot Donna was turning into RED Hot Donna ……. Seems her tanning lotion had no actual sunscreen in it …… probably wouldn’t be a good idea to stay out in the sun anymore, so we decided to grab a cab and head up to Playa for the Nasty Bastards gig at Bad Boyz and check in with our Mexican girlfriend Tyra !!!………. now normally, I dread getting into a cab, but we apparently got lucky cuz this particular driver was pretty sane and fairly cautious with his driving  …. Of course, his eyes were mostly glued to the rear view mirror watchin Lil G and Donna …… cabbie dropped us off at 10th y Juarez and we stopped at a cambio to get some pesos and allow a local chica to admire Babaloo’s biceps ….. then it was off to Bad Boyz……. apparently, we forgot to eat lunch .... ... cuz Babaloo immediately decided we needed to get something to eat …. soooooo..... we grabbed a table outside the palapa and ordered up a few rounds of BMDJs    …… ….soon, we were joined by a bunch of peeps….. Gasman and neraK , Baked and Judy, No Angel Ex ……. Kevin and Jamesblonde …….. Nick and Tommygurl …… and of course, my sweetie Tyra and her German………. Babaloo was about to die from lack of food .....  ....so we ordered up…… well, we ordered up more rounds of BMDJs …..I know I met A LOT more peeps this day.... well...... anyways..... I think I met a lot more peeps this day, but I’m just not too good at remembering faces and names …… at one point, I had three young buck Canadian dudes sitting near me, so I challenged them to an arm wresltin match.… I don’t know what is up w/ Canadian dudes, they NEVER want to arm wrestle !!!…. I mean come on, they were all like 15 years younger than me….. I even offered to take on Trevor with my left arm ….. still a no go ……..the Bastards were jamming out and everyone was gettin there blues on …….. Donna spied AbsoluteAl over in the corner so she drug me over and introduced me…. Pretty sure we’ve met before but I wasn’t quite sure since he didn’t say“Dude, you cut your hair!!!” but, not to be disappointed, Sharkey appeared and greeted me with “Scott, you’re looking good man !!!……… you cut your hair!!!” yep, that’s me now, at this point, Babaloo is hangin on by a thread, graspin his stomach and demanding “We’ve gotta get some food …..now  !!!so, after a brief discussion, we ordered up……. Well…… we ordered up another round of BMDJs ……… I snuck off for a bit to spend some quality time w/ Tyra and her German …….. I like this Joergen (sp???) guy, he makes my Tyra smile ……. Sharkey took the stage for his obligatory “House of the Rising Sun” and then Chris Bollister wandered up and introduced himself… nice guy and he can definitely jam !!!…….. around 7:00, I got in a heated discussion with our waiter concerning our bill…… seems he was tracking our tab by how many people joined our group……. WRONG !!!!…….. my bill is for me, the two hot chicks sitting there, and the skinny dude w/ biceps sitting over there !!!……… finally came to an agreement as to what was actually consumed by our group and then the waiter asked me what to do about the rest of the bill….. hmmmmmmmmm.......“No mi problemo, amigo” ……… now, this was a time consuming procedure and Lil G was getting frustrated about not being able to order another round of BMDJs, so she pushed her way up to the stage and started some rather sexy girl on girl action w/ jamesblonde ….. I think it took like 3.4 seconds for some guys from Dallas to buy her a beer and a shot !!!……… I wandered up to the stage to check on Lil G…… and then I looked at the guy sittin next to her and in my best menacing voice asked….“Are you the guy buyin my wife all these drinks ???”“uhhhhhh…….. yeah, I bought her a beer and a shot” so I scowled at him, reached out to shake his hand and replied ‘Thanks man !!!” …… and the I wandered back out to the beach….. only to turn back around cuz I realized I was missin out on more girl on girl action between Lil G and Jamesblonde ……. It was quite a hot show and Kevin was doin a good job with photo documentation, but it took a turn for the unbelievable when jamesblonde actually threatened to steal my wife !!!……. sorry !!!…… can’t let you do that!!!.... I mean, how could I possibly spend the rest of my vacation walkin around with only ONE hot chick ???….. got an image to uphold !!!……… well, the music ended and we performed CPR on Babaloo and assured him we’d go get some food…. He was mumblin “HC…. HC….HC”, so I took that to mean we needed to head to the Beer Bucket and see if Ron was makin burgers …….. me, Lil G, ‘Loo, Donna, and NoAngel EX took off and were soon at the Bucket …. Ordered up a round of BMDJs and noticed Ron was nowhere to be found…. So I told Donna“get Ron on the phone and tell him to shag his ass down here and cook me a burger !!!”well, Ron had some lame excuse that he was in the middle of dinner ….. freakin great !!!….. now we had to put up with more whining from ‘Loo about being famished…… .....well, we finally gave in to ‘Loos demands for HC arrachera and began the seven mile stumble up to 30th Ave …….. ‘Loo kept NoAngel EX outta trouble on the walk and I had Lil G in my left hand and Hot Donna in my right and did a fairly successful job of keeping them outta the path of all the taxis and bicycles speeding down 10th ave  ……. some 3 hours later , we made it to HC and ordered up some arrachera nacionales and pechuga de pollo……. Mmmmmm…….. HC de Monterrey !!!……. at the time, it seemed like it was worth the walk and I was amazed that ‘Loo didn’t make an appetizer outta some of the stray cats we saw along the way…….. well, after dinner, we were gonna catch a cab back to Akumal, but I remembered we had to walk that cutie NoAngel EX, back home and then go back to the Bucket to retrieve Donna’s cell phone….. when we got back to the Bucket, Ron was there, so I got the obligatory Ron man hug and then he said “Scott…. Good to see you man……. You cut your hair!!!” yep, that’s me told Ron about the hiking expedition we just completed to get a taco and explained that I was confused we walked so far when El Oasis is right around the corner........ Ron sided w/ me and said "a fk'n taco is a fk'n taco" hung out for a while and since it was past 11:00, we decided we’d better say our goodbyes and grab a cab back to Akumal….. amazingly, we were blessed with another very nice and cautious cabbie for the ride home …. He even put on some Beatles music for the girls and they began boppin around and singin in the back seat…. Cabbie seemed to find that rather enjoyable ……. Dropped ‘Loo at the casa in Paamul and soon we were hittin the sheets back at our condo….. don’t remember if Lil G slept w/ me or Donna, but my money would be on Donna………. I forgot to take my camera with me for the Playa visit.... well, actually, I intentionally forgot it..... so here's a Mezcalinaesque summary of the day  And so ends another great day in our Just A Chillin Trip !!!

. Still, its wonderful to read! Makes me want to be there NOW!Sounds like some great days and nights you're having! Yep, ya gotta really examine the tab at BB. Problem is, we like to arrive by 4 and leave a bit before 8.......so.......who has the brains enough to add a tab after all that drinking! I've learned its better if I "pay as I go"! So how is adorable Tyra and her German? Funny, I was just looking at pics this afternoon with some friends. I miss her . And yes, Jurgen sure does make her smile! How cute is this......  and one of hot Donna..........for your viewing pleasure!  These were taken at La Pesca after Bad Boys on a Thursday in March. It was a great time for sure. On with your awesome report!!! |

well..... we always have a good time on our Mexico trips…… seems every day is a memorable one…….. but in every trip, there’s always that one day that just exceeds all the others ….. the kinda day you can look back on in 10 years and say …….. “ man….. that was freakin’ awesome
” …….. we pretty much nailed one of those on this day ……. I’m pretty sure it was Friday ….I woke up around 8:00, still kinda buzzed from the nite before……. Girls were crashed hard so I did my normal coffee on the beach/internet/ESPN gig …….. girls kept on sleepin…….. more coffee…….. more beach……… more ESPN……. Can’t remember who crawled outta bed first, but maybe it was Lil G…….. I think it was around 10:00 …… Donna and Lil G looked to be in no mind to cook for me this morning .....so I think I wisely cooked my own chorizo and eggs…….. the girls moped around in their PJs for a while and then we stocked up the collapsible cooler with beer, Mirindas, and waters….. threw the snorkel bag, cooler, and of course Lil G and Donna into the Mark 5 and we were off for a daytrip to Tulum and Boca Paila !!!  ………. well…… first, we had to drive up to P.A. to get gas cuz I didn’t think I had enough to make it to Tulum….. pulled up to the pump, jumped out and checked the tires, gave the attendant 151 pesos and watched him pump 150 pesos of gas and clean my windows……..cool ……. now we were off to hang out with Ms Margo down at Xamach Dos !!! ……. someone had warned me about a radar check in the construction zone along the road to the Tulum beach so I observed the speed limit signs there and really p’d off a few locals behind us …… got lucky though, no policia …….. turned south towards Boca Paila and was amazed at the growth along the beach….. it’s been 6 or 7 years since we’ve been down that way…. Ana y Jose’s was about the end of the development then, but now, it seems like it’s developed almost to the biosphere entry……. Well…. we were bumpin along thru the hotel zone ….. came around a tree lined curve…. And there in the shadows was a tall blonde, clutchin a purse, hitchin a ride ………. Luckily …… I noticed the protruding Adam’s apple before I slammed on the brakes !!!…….. I think it may have been Ann Coulter's .....ummmm.... sister??? ......sped up slightly and soon we were at the Sian Ka’an entry arch…… I think they wanted 21 pesos each for entry …. That’s cool….. gave them 100 pesos and we started bumpin down the road towards Boca Paila again…….. the Mark 5 was makin pretty good time, the road was in great shape…. Mostly…….. seems like we were hittin 45-60 kph thru most of it……. Did hit about a ½ mile stretch just north of Boca Paila where it felt like we were caught by a massive vibratory machine underneath the car ……. Lil G and Donna seemed to kinda enjoy it …….. Not so much for me though ...…… grabbed a couple of pics crossing the Boca Paila bridge…. It’s always a pretty pic ………   made our way around to Punta Yuyum, passing by this beach…..  ….. which is where we I grabbed this pic of Lil G back in ‘02  ….surf rollin in on Punta Yuyum  …… beaches south of Punta Yuyum  …..road still wasn’t too bad…… last time we were this far south, the road was a just Jeep trail.......  finally made it to Xamach Dos ….. found an empty parking spot …..... found Ms Margo doin some paperwork …….. she quickly finished her work and led us up to the main palapa where we were just mesmerized with……..... Well….. we were mesmerized with her new stove of course !!!….. a nice 6 burner gas rig it is !!! .......met the senora that runs the kitchen and then stepped out out into the dining area……… WOW !!!!!………. gotta admit, I was pretty depressed goin into this trip that I wouldn’t be able to hang out at my friend Lalo’s place on Paradise Bay…… that was the spot where I did the ultimate chillin……. The kinda chillin where your mind kinda goes numb and you look like this…….  Yes, Oscar y Lalo’s on the beach was no more……. But now!!!….. I’ve found this……   sat down and drawing upon my 2009 Beer Credits, I had Margo serve me up a Leon…… 3.6 seconds later, my mind turned to jello ……… we sat around talking to Margo for a while and then I strayed out to the beach………… looked to the north and saw ….. NUTHIN !!!  ………… looked to the south and saw……..NUTHIN !!!  This is just tooooooooooo plush !!!!!! The sand here is beyond sugar sand…. more like a fine bleached flour actually.... and there's nobody else in sight !!!  Went back to the palapa and hung out some more….. Margo talked us into a plate of guacamole and salsas and we’re glad she did…….. it was awesome !!!……. she even gave Donna a couple of pickled habeneros to munch ….. but I think Donna kinda hid them away under one of the salsa bowls …….. chilled for a while enjoying the chips and salsa and then grabbed my camera and hit the water to do some bobbin ……. The sand goes a ways out before the grass starts so it was a pretty high class spot for bobbin in the waves …….. probably not the best snorkelin beach on the coast, but if you’re a really slow swimmer, there are probably a lot of conch to chase around in this area    Back to the palapa to dry out and I find that the girls have located an unopened bottle of Centenario anejo ….. well….. anyway…….. it was a previously unopened bottle of Centenario anejo and the three girls I was starin at all had guilty grins on their faces …… Margo gave us a tour of the cabanas….. very nice actually……. Gotta love the total seclusion…… they do have 24 hour solar electric, but not enough to provide A/C….. that’s OK though….. when we book our trip here, I’m sure we’ll be blessed with the strong southeast winds we have today !!!Here’s some pics !!!    Well, the sun was easing down to the west and now the girls had to pick out a dress for Margo cuz she had sorta a blind date at Hechizo in Tulum tonite…… with Donna AND Lil G assisting, it didn’t take Margo long to come back in this ....  We hung out a bit longer so we could be assured that bottle of Centenario anejo was completely dead and then we jumped in the Mark V and headed up to La Zebra in Tulum for some pre-date drinks……… pulled over for a pic op on the way….. turned out to be the best pic of the trip Sucks To be Me Pic #2  yep.... sucks to be me today...... but the day is not quite over yet Last edited by sctx : 05-18-2008 at 06:24 PM. |
