Mother Teresa in fishnets! At last, a seahorse!

Over three years' diving around Playa del Carmen and I never saw a seahorse.

Over three years' diving in Playa del Carmen without being able to take that many photographs because there are no facilities to develop transparency film.

I get my hands on a digital and, hey presto!
(Don't even try, UGA...)

This animal was just over 4cm long, and with the underwater surge we've had over the last few days it was quite hard capturing this image on the shallower area of Chunzumbul Reef.

Very cool!

My sister and brother in law went to Australia this past winter and dived the Great Barrier Reef, and also around Fiji. They saw quite a few seahorses, and took some pictures. But pretty teeny ones...how big was this one, it's hard to tell?

Smart ass! You try getting underwater and spotting various sea creatures all over the reef!

Yes, practice does make perfect, now doesn't it!?

Oh duh , thanks Vanessa (note to self: try to read everything Daddy B posts, even if it kills me.)

That is tiny! Good thing he has had all those years of practice, indeed.

Better than having a dream as a kid to see Mother Teresa in fishnets. In my humble opinion, anyway.

Coward.

You could have had "hung like a seahorse", "he has to, unless he wears nappies", etc...
