You definitely scored on that deal

Be forwarned...take some cash 'cuz the Royal is right in the middle of everthing and staying at the hotel will be hard to do.

Have a great time!!!!!

Then we had a $100 off coupon that brought us right in budget. We got hooked up with the coupon because my girlfriend books alot of travel through her job. So that came in handy.
So we paid $1,009.03pp
We booked at the RPDC through Expedia, too. Good luck, have fun, and lemme know if you get bumped or anything! Ours is in July... hope its not too crowded.

Thanks, everyone... Yeah, that's pretty much our only concern right about now. The bump factor and airport transfer to the hotel. I don't think we purchased the transfer with the package. So what do you guys recommend in terms of getting to the hotel from the airport?

You could book a private transfer through this site or you can take the ADO bus. If you're still trying to stay close to budget then I would suggest the bus. It's 8 bucks and the buses are really comfortable.
Here are a couple of links to ADO info:

No problemo!

If you take the bus you'll be dropped off at the bus station on 5th right in the middle of town. It's several blocks to the hotel(and you don't wanna waste your time lugging bags down cobblestone streets in the heat do ya??). Grab a cab right outside the bus station and they should be able to get you there for a couple of bucks.

I spoke with someone in reservations and they have transportation provided by the hotel. He said it was a $45 round trip. Has anyone ever used their service? I'm just looking for the most convenient and cost effective way to get to the hotel. He said it was a van and runs 24 hours. Our flight departs Cancun @ 7:35am. I want to make I sure I have reliable convenient transport to and from the hotel especially to catch my early flight back to Miami.
When you add up $8 per person each way it comes out to $32 on the ADO bus. Then you jump in a cab and break him off $5 each way comes out to $42 bucks.
Am I adding all this up right? as far as the ADO fare goes.
and how much would a cab be? I think the guy told me $50 each way.

If you spoke with the hotel directly (or Real Resorts Resv) I would imagine it be very reliable. $45 round trip is a great deal...make sure you get it in writing and look it over before you pay. I don't think a cab is $50 (??) one way but it's pretty expensive.

Yes, it was Real Resorts Reservations. I have his email. I'll make sure he sends me everything in writing. Thank you so much Kelly.

Hey Congrats! You got a great price too. I envy your afternoon departure. We depart 7:35 in the AM. But hey we will be home Early to chill before we go back to work. Geez, that means we gotta leave the hotel like 5:30 in the morning to get to the airport by say 6:30am to catch our departure. Eh, were troopers... Congrats on your bookage! We'll post back lots of pics and reviews.
