Jellyfish Gourd Lamps

Hi,
Was in Playa del Carmen last week and saw some beautiful gourd lamps at a shop on 5th Avenue named "Jellyfish". Could anyone tell me if them can be ordered online or does anyone have any contacts with the store that I can try?? Didn't buy one but wanted to order some for gifts. Tried googling and found pictures of the shop but no contact info. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

When I'm there I will ask if this can be done. I always bring one or two back for our friends cottage.

Sukidog: Could you tell me if you have stayed at the Royal before?? This was our first time in Mexico and we fell in love with the Riviera Maya. Stayed at the Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda and loved it but would like to return soon and have been researching other AI. Just wondering if you could give any good suggestions on places to stay. Good food, great pools, not overcrowded, etc. Thanks for any info that you can provide.

as fragile as they are, i would think the shipping costs would be prohibitive...hell...non-fragile items are outrageously expensive to ship.

my sister purchased 2 of those jellyfish gourd lamps on our April trip and she didn't want to carry them on the plane so asked about shipping, but they said they don't ship. She wanted them bad enough that she carried them home. Now she's glad she did as they're so awesome.

Thanks Annabelle. That's kind of what I thought. Wanted to buy some for the people who traveled to Mexico for my daughter's wedding. I'll have to see if someone is going there that I can bribe to bring some back for me. Maybe I will just have to take another trip to Mexico to get them. Sounds good to me!!!! Thanks again.

a trip to Playa for gourd lamps is good enough of an excuse to get me back. Hell, it would take less than that for me to return.

Yeah, we bought one a couple of years ago and carried it on the plane. It made it home just fine that way. Don't think I would risk shipping it.

I just bought one and brought it home on the plane. It made it fine even in my husbands backpack carryon and he forgot it was in there so he was just tossing it around like nothing was in there. I was VERY lucky it made it home in one piece, and so did my Mother-in-laws.

Mine's cool, green light and the shapes carved through are sea turtles!!! It's gorgeous!!

We brought two home last year. Just wrapped them really good and put them in our suitcases. They made the trip just fine.

Very pretty!!!

I have had one for 3 years now, it hangs outside all year! Still works, although I did have to re-wire the plug

The wiring in these lamps is notoriously cheap but equally cheap and easy to replace at home!!
