Good luck to you and Rob! How cool that you are building your dream home with exciting new designs and traditional materials that will incorporate into an eco-friendly living environment.

Thanks for the words of encouragment. It's really important for us that our kids grow up thinking that employing alternative energy sources and sustainable building materials is "normal". We want to be eco-friendly without being eco-militant. (my husband's phrasology)

Congratulations Michele! You and Rob must be so excited!

Sounds like you are well on your way to owning a beautiful home.

Thank you everyone!! We are very excited and, of course, a bit nervous. Building condos for other people is very different from building your own home. Lots of things to disagree about.

Because the buildings are so cool, I thought I would post some more pictures from SacBe.

Mazel tov, Michele!

What a great neighborhood! I've heard so much about the development, but never had a chance to see it. If you have time and you are around in July, do you think we could go look around with you?

I've been thinking about starting a similar thread about Kelli and I building our dream house in Tomball. Not as exotic a location, for sure...

Hi Stewart!! Great idea!! We can compare and contrast the processes here and there.
