El Nino really sucks around the Pacific NW when it happens. Not much snow (bad year for the Olympics! and the fishing really sucks!). it's been a couple years since we had one. We usually have a crappy summer after a mild winter too!

It's not happening NOW? I think it is...no?

I think it is a global phenomenon when it happens?

I work for FedEx and although our flight arrived in Newark nothing is moving out today. My co-workers in NY tell me that the snow will last until late tonight. If you leave tomorrow you should ok because the weather is milder this time of year.

18 C at 8 pm is 'cold'?

I would think that is perfect evening weather.

Trust me, it was cold. Even my goosebumps had goosebumps! But I could be home like my poor husband is, shoveling a whole pile of snow so I'll shut up for now.
