Today was, without a doubt, a perfect 10 of a beach day. I'll take 13 more of these, please? Sir? Can I have some more?
Chilly evenings, yes, but still.....after leaving 3+ feet of snow less than 48 hours ago.....it's all good. ![]() ![]() ![]()

What's the deal with the cooler weather?
What's the deal with the cooler weather lately. I'm arriving on March 18 and wondering if I should even bother going shopping for warm weather clothes. I know that these aren't normal weather temps....

We are leaving Playa today.
I checked the weather forecast every day just before coming and every day the forcast was different. The last time I checked the forecast for our entire vacation was one day of sun, one day of thunder storms, and five days of rain. What we got were six beautiful days and one day of overcast with no rain at all. A light jacket in the evening was needed. Needless to say I'm not looking forward to going home. The folks ar home say it has rained every day since we left with highs in the low 40's. I love Playa and am planning to return as soon as I can. I won't bother with checking the forecasts next time though. |

weather Apr 10-17 --- yikes!
Just checked weather.com and it looks like it's suppose to be rainy all next week which is when we're suppose to be there. It may sound like a stupid question but is the weather report usually pretty accurate? Also, if it says rain, is rainy all day or does it normal just rain for a while then sunny again?
I hate to be paranoid and I'm typically just go with the flow but I have been looking forward to this vacation for over a year and would hate to have it spoiled by rain, especially when we have traveler's insurance and can reschedule. I originally booked this time of year because there's suppose to be very little rain. |
