I see the summer heat and humidity is crankin' up. I'm sure it'll be steamy when we get there in August. Bring on the heat!!

We have just returned (yesterday evening) from 3 weeks in pdc. We were in Playa in May last year and the year before that, but couldn't make it this year so decided on June. Weather wise I have to say I prefer May. Days were consistently sunny (last year we had 2 sunny weeks), as oppose to this year when we had a lot of partly cloudy days with some sun and also a bit of rain. It seemed like April at home, only much warmer. The weather really was completely unpredictable and from cloudless picture perfect morning it could get cloudy with rain in a matter of hours.
There are other advantages of going in June, like the whale sharks, even less people, etc.

Hiya boxi- good weather/trip report! Fewer people in Playa is a good thing.

Did you swim with the whale sharks?? Lucky woman.

It must be hot...too hot to venture out of the house, right?

We're getting a lot of heat, humidity and thunderstorms up here in the northeast too. Of course, it's not quite as hot as where you are!
